Exquisite Floral Designs for All Occasions

Samantha Vadeboncoeur

I grew up on a beautiful  historic fruit and vegetable farm in Johnston Rhode Island, where I was surrounded by over 100 acres of flowering apple trees, rambling pumpkin patches and winding cornfields.  Working alongside my family in this stunning setting gave me a  deep love and appreciation for the art of growing and creating with nature.  Even as a small child I walked from field to field picking fragrant bouquets of lilacs, buttercups and violets and couldn’t wait to see the new blooms popping up each season.

In 2001, I attended Messiah College in Pennsylvania where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature.  After graduation, I worked in advertising and helped out at my Aunt and Uncle’s greenhouse/flower shop, The Country Gardener.  Here I was encouraged to experiment and “play” with various design styles, and my love for flowers quickly became an obsession.  In 2004 I left advertising to pursue my passion and study floral design, receiving my certificate from New England School of Floral Design.

Since then I have worked in shops in Rhode Island and Connecticut, while doing weddings on my own for family and friends.  Creating Fleur de Fleurs has been a dream a long time coming.  Each wedding and event is an opportunity to share my design ascetic and love for combining unique, exquisite blooms in an organic, magical presentation.

I live in Brooklyn, Connecticut with my husband Aaron and three amazing children.  There I am surrounded by my gardens, neighboring farms . . . and a lot of love.
